Egresado de la Universidad Instituto Allende, en San Miguel de Allende, Gto, su trabajo pictórico aborda temáticas como la memoria, la violencia, la sexualidad y el cuerpo.
Cuenta con trece exposiciones individuales en México y más de cuarenta exhibiciones colectivas en países como Alemania, España, Estados Unidos, Italia y Suecia. El año pasado tuvo su primer solo show internacional en la ciudad de Nueva York, titulada “Interlace”, en la Galería Kates Ferri Projects.
Acreedor en el pasado en tres ocasiones de la beca de Jóvenes Creadores, FONCA, y recientemente del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte, SNCA, el año pasado fue el ganador de la XX Bienal de pintura Rufino Tamayo.

A graduate of Universidad Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, his pictorial work addresses themes such as memory, violence, sexuality, and the body.
He has held thirteen solo exhibitions in Mexico and participated in more than forty group exhibitions in countries including Germany, Spain, the United States, Italy, and Sweden. Last year, he presented his first international solo show, Interlace, at Kates-Ferri Projects in New York City.
A three-time recipient of the FONCA Young Creators grant and, more recently, a member of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA), he was also the winner of the 20th Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial last year.
