ANDREA TAPIA
Es artista interdisciplinaria y egresada de la Licenciatura en Diseño Industrial por la Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes.
Entre sus actividades más recientes destaca haber sido beneficiaria de la beca Randy Walz, su participación en la exposición colectiva Territorios extendidos organizada por TUM TUM, en la exposición virtual Atemporal Site, así como en la “Seminaria de producciona” de Espacio sin nombre.
Su práctica nace de observar y registrar los fenómenos cotidianos y del entorno; le interesa el desarrollo y la construcción del inconsciente individual y colectivo. Explora la intersección entre naturaleza, arte y tecnología, proponiendo puentes entre lo orgánico y lo digital, lo emocional y lo simbólico. Su trabajo abarca medios como el videojuego, el GIF, el collage digital, el software art, la instalación y otros formatos alternativos.
Is an interdisciplinary artist and a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes.
Her most recent activities include receiving the Randy Walz scholarship, participating in the group exhibition Territorios extendidos organized by TUM TUM, the virtual exhibition Atemporal Site, as well as in the production seminar “Seminaria de producciona” at Espacio sin nombre.
Her practice stems from observing and documenting everyday phenomena and the surrounding environment; she is interested in the development and construction of both the individual and collective unconscious. She explores the intersection between nature, art, and technology, building bridges between the organic and the digital, the emotional and the symbolic. Her work spans media such as video games, GIFs, digital collage, software art, installation, and other alternative formats.
